Overview
Based on your responses to the Mood Ring, Mentorhub recommends apps for you to help with the challenges you identified. You can find these recommendations in the ‘Tools’ tab, under ‘Recommended’.
To keep track of your app usage for any app in MentorHub, we have implemented a simple process that will log this information. When an app is recommended to you within MentorHub, click on the recommended app’s name, which will take you to the appropriate version of the app in the app store (Apple App Store or Google play store). Download the app from the app store.
Once you’ve downloaded the app, go back to the Mentorhub app before you start using the recommended app. You will now have the recommended app in the “Tools” tab under “My Apps” in Mentorhub. To keep track of your app usage, please make sure that you launch apps from within this tab in MentorHub each time you use it.
You can do this by clicking on the name of the app and click ‘Open App’ in the pop-up. This is a very important step to make sure that we can track your usage of an app. When the app launches, we’ll know that you’re using the app and can show this to mentors.

Tapping one of these apps will give you the option to launch it. From there, we will track your usage of that app for the day.
If you don’t see this information show up right away, don’t worry. Check again at the end of the day to see if a usage point has been logged in the system. If you’re still not seeing it, you can ask your mentor to to update the point for you for any date that you used a partner app. If you run into any issues, you can always email support@mentorhubapp.org and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
Special cases
In some cases, we’re able to track your use of a partner app without you launching it from MentorHub. The apps that currently support this functionality are Intellicare and Superbetter. You can read more about how this works for Intellicare here and for Superbetter here.
